A dinner party was organised by the TNAAA executive body in order to Felicitate the Political achivers from the TNA alumni. With Three MLAs and one Advocate General , it was only proper that we celebrate.  Mr S P Wangdi has been chosen by the state government to be the Advocate General  of Sikkim for a fourth Term, Mr K T Gyaltsen a two time MLA has been elected as the Honourable Speaker of The Legislative assembly, Mr Dawcho Lepcha in his second term as MLA has been given the responsibilities of a cabinet Minister. Mr T W Lepcha first time MLA has been appointed as a Chair Person to the Transport Department.

The felicitation dinner was merged with the annual patrons dinner and held on 1st June 2009 at the Royal Plaza Gangtok. Invitations were made to all the above achievers but only Mr  S P Wangdi and Mr K T Gyaltsen could attend. Mr Dawcho Lepcha and  Mr T W Lepcha could not attend and sent their regrets accordingly.
