PRESS RELEASE
The deplorable
condition of Infrastructures of the Tashi Namgyal Academy has been highlighted
time and again by the Parents, Teachers and the Students. Keeping this in mind,
the Members of the Tashi Namgyal Academy Alumni Association (TNAAA) visited the School on
21/05/2013.On inspection it was found that the infrastructures are really in a
very pathetic state and especially the condition of the toilets .Hence, it was
decided to take up the repair and construction of infrastructures in a phase
wise manner. It was decided to take up the construction of the Junior School
toilets in the first phase. The financial drive for the same has already been
initiated with the Alumni members contributing for the same. However, it was
decided that the main stakeholders namely the parents and teachers have to be
involved as the project not only requires finances but personal participation.
Hence, to discuss
this issue in detail, the TNAAA has requested the presence of the Parents,
teachers and Ex-students of the School in a meeting to be held in the School
Auditorium on 30th of May 2013 at 3.30 PM.
